THE SACRAMENTS

“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” — John 10:10

The Sacraments are sacred signs through which we experience God’s love and grace. They accompany us throughout life, helping us grow in faith, receive healing, and live in service to others.

Sacraments of Initiation

Welcoming us into the life of the Church and beginning our journey of faith.

Baptism – Become a child of God and a member of the Church.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” — Matthew 28:19

Confirmation – Strengthened by the Holy Spirit to live your faith courageously.

“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses.” — Acts 1:8

Eucharist (Holy Communion) – Receive the Body and Blood of Christ for spiritual nourishment.

“I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry.” — John 6:35

Sacraments of Healing 

Bringing God’s mercy, forgiveness, and healing into our lives.

Reconciliation (Confession) – Be restored to God’s grace through forgiveness.

“If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven.” — John 20:23

Anointing of the Sick – Receive God’s strength, peace, and healing in times of illness.

“Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.” — James 5:14

Sacraments of Service

Living in service to God and others, building up the Church.

Marriage – A lifelong covenant of love and faithfulness before God.

“Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” — Mark 10:9

Holy Orders – Ordained to serve God’s people as deacons, priests, or bishops.

“Do this in remembrance of me.” — Luke 22:19
